Our Story
Founded in 2020, Swadesh Foundation emerged from a shared vision to make a meaningful difference in the lives of underprivileged children across Kolkata.

It all began with a small group of passionate individuals who recognized the immense potential within every child, regardless of their circumstances. Driven by the belief that education and care are fundamental rights, we started our journey by focusing on providing access to quality education for children who were often overlooked by mainstream opportunities. We witnessed firsthand the transformative power of education in breaking the cycle of poverty and despair.

Ensure Education for All: We provide access to quality education, school supplies, and educational resources to children who are unable to attend school due to financial constraints or other barriers.

Promote Health and Nutrition: We focus on improving the health and well-being of children through medical camps, nutritional support, and awareness programs on hygiene and sanitation.

Empower Through Skill Development: We offer vocational training and life skills workshops to older children, equipping them with the skills they need to build a better future.

Since 2020, we have impacted the lives of 500 children across Egra. Through our dedicated team and the support of our donors and partners, we continue to expand our reach and make a lasting difference.

Fund Raising

Our fundraising activities range from individual donations to corporate partnerships and community events. These funds enable us to expand our reach and impact, ensuring that more children have access to education, healthcare, and essential services. Tree Planting

Recognizing the importance of environmental sustainability, we launched a tree plantation campaign to educate children and communities about the benefits of a green environment. Through this initiative, we aim to instill a sense of environmental stewardship while improving air quality and biodiversity in our project areas. Join us in planting trees and creating a greener, healthier future for generations to come.

Child care

At Swadesh Foundation , we prioritize the well-being and protection of children. Our child care programs include counseling services, recreational activities, and vocational training to ensure that every child grows up in a nurturing and supportive environment. We work closely with local authorities and community leaders to advocate for children's rights and safeguard their welfare against exploitation and abuse.
